Highlights

  • Development work for this initial phase is expected to close by the end of June, wrapping up 12 weeks of active design and build!
  • Functionality delivered in this phase includes all communications and activities associated with scheduling and managing appointments for both advisors and learners.
  • ECU-led Early Access & Accessibility Testing to give select subject matter experts access to Pirate360 continues.
  • An Advising Pirate360 Champion Network is now active!
  • *ECU-led User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is scheduled from July 31 – August 20.
  • Select learners were recently given a demo of Learner360 and will participate in User Acceptance Testing.

FAQs

  • The soft launch Go Live Date for Advising is Tuesday, September 9th.
  • The soft launch Go Live Date for Learners is Tuesday, September 17th.
  • The soft launch will include advisors and learners from HHP, MAP and COB with other advising centers and learners going live after the new year.
  • Formal outreach to impacted learners will begin in August.
  • To prevent confusion, communication about Learner360 will not be included in Orientation.

Highlights

  • Discovery work for the Foundations Phase has been completed. Thank you!
  • Development work for Experiential Learning has begun. The timeline for completion is estimated at 14 weeks.
  • The scope of work for the Foundations Phase has been determined and is expected to include the following learning types: Internships, Co-ops, Capstone Courses, Independent Studies and Research.
  • An agile delivery approach is being used to enable ongoing assessment of learner and user needs, allowing adjustment if required.
  • ECU-led Early Access and Accessibility Testing has been planned to give select subject matter experts hands-on access during system development.

FAQs

  • Go Live for users included in this Foundational Phase is expected to take place in late October or early November.
  • Out of scope learning types for the Foundations Phase include Study Abroad, On-Campus Employment, Clinical Placement,Β Placements tracked in Sonia, student organizations, service-based learning and Mentoring Programs.
  • Graduate programs will receive access to manage relevant experiential learning activities in Pirate360. However, graduate learners will not be brought into the Portal until a later date, which has yet to be determined.
