Develop basic risk assessment templates for identifying and evaluating risks from the use of information technologies
Create a position to manage SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) support services and the student internship program.

Develop a progressive SIEM training plan to provide core ITCS staff and student interns with the ability to become proficient users of the SIEM solution.
Implementation of a â€˜Privileged Account Managementâ€™ system. This will ITCS to remove many of the embedded passwords in applications thus alleviating required down-times associated with password changes as well as enhance system security by programmatically managing accounts with elevated privileges thus reducing exposure of sensitive accounts.
Refine the UI of the newly designed PiratePort portal and incorporate additional communication elements, such as notifications and automated text and emails. Implement the Single Sign On process via ADFS. Redesign the Advisor Central Exchange Integration to use a delegated system account. Develop the PirateDrive application login process. Enhance the automated deploy system.
This project involves ECU and Vidant working strategically in assessing network connectivity between their facilities and applying enhanced security measures that will be mutually beneficial.
