Network Consultations for Departments
Network Services provides consultation, design and implementation for all voice, data and infrastructure wiring for departments and agencies within the university system.
Network Services are as follows:
Voice – consultation, voice services design/quotes, desktop and conference phones, call center solutions, public access telephone lines and services, and blue light phones and service.
Data – consultations, network design/quotes, wireless requirements, remote office solutions to include DSL and remote Internet requirements and data port activation.
Infrastructure Wiring – consultation, wiring design/quotes, cable drops for voice and data ports, wiring requirements to support renovation projects, fiber requests and all outside plant locales due to construction, etc.
Infrastructure Locate Service – Before you dig, contact Network Services as they can provide the location of underground fiber optic cabling on campus.
- To report a problem or request service, such as a new phone line, call the IT Help Desk – 252.328.9866 or enter an online service request.
- Departments requiring assistance with a network services project should visit the Central Project Office website or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
