Pirate Techs Student Support

Pirate Techs assists all students with technical support like network connectivity, email and software setup, virus removal and more. Pirate Techs is also a full-service repair center for Dell, Lenovo and Apple computers. No appointment necessary.

Printer Installation and Repair

New office printer? ITCS can install a new department printer at no charge, including a network laser printer for an entire office or a small laser jet for a single faculty or staff office. Printer problems? Submit the repair form.

Server and Storage Provisioning

The ITCS Enterprise Systems Team offers consults on required server type (blade, physical, virtual) and hardware quotes. The service is free; departments purchase hardware at educational pricing.

Staff Computer Support

ITCS installs and supports all department desktop and laptop computers with two-hour response time for clinic computers.

Technology Security Assessment (Hardware)

A Technology Security Assessment is required when the hardware you wish to purchase will be involved with sensitive information.

ECU WiFi Wireless Network

ecu-wifi is an open, non-secure wireless network at ECU used to connect internet-ready devices, like smart TVs, to the internet.

ECU Wired Network

Both residence halls and campus buildings include a wired network for desktops, laptops and other devices that can connect through an Ethernet cable.

Eduroam Wireless Network

Eduroam is ECU's primary wireless network.

Guest Wireless Access

Internet access for visitors with no PirateID and no eduroam access. Daily and weekly accounts sponsored by ECU faculty or staff.

Network Services provides consultation, design and implementation for all voice, data and infrastructure wiring for departments and agencies within the university system.
