The tool is best used for course introductions, micro-lectures, or in-the-moment feedback videos. Panopto for Canvas | Panopto can be used to create longer (10 minutes or more) videos targeted at students. Panopto is best used for creating lecture videos with multiple parts that students can quickly jump to using Panopto’s “Chapter” feature. Panopto Recorder | Faculty looking to have their lectures recorded while teaching can submit a ticket to have their lectures automatically recorded. OFE Studio | Faculty wanting more polished videos can take advantage of the Office of Faculty Excellence’s recording studio featuring a green screen, microphone, and teleprompter. One Button Studio | One Button Studios are available across campus in Joyner and Laupus Library and the Isley Innovation Hub. These studios include mounted lights, a microphone, a camera, and a green screen. Interested faculty can book an appointment, press the button to begin their recording, and again once they are finished. Videos must be saved on a flash drive. Professional Campus Videography | Faculty looking for professional quality video can request to film with a videographer within ITCS. Turnaround time on production is between one to two months and videos must have a shelf life of three to five years. | Book an appointment | Example |
