UDL Book Group Invitation: Reaching Every Student Through Inclusive Design
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) provides a transformative framework for teaching and learning that seeks to eliminate barriers and foster success for all students. While the principles are powerful, applying them across diverse courses—varying in size, format, and delivery—can pose real challenges.
If you’re curious about how UDL can be meaningfully integrated into higher education, join our faculty book group as we explore Reach Everyone, Teach Everyone: Universal Design for Learning in Higher Education by Thomas J. Tobin and Kirsten T. Behling. This insightful guide speaks directly to faculty, disability support professionals, campus leaders, and graduate students who want to strengthen engagement, interaction, and performance in the college classroom.
What the book offers:
- Practical case studies across a variety of disciplines
- Active learning strategies and coaching techniques
- Scalable guidance for UDL adoption—whether at the course or institutional level
- Actionable tools for becoming a UDL advocate in your own context
