This past Sunday’s launch of the new PiratePort interface was a great success.
After a year of hard work, the PiratePort team has wrapped the PiratePort apps in a brand new, improved interface that incorporates the feedback we received from you, our users. Once you log in, you’ll notice the updated look that puts the features you need front and center. For example, you’ll see all your announcements and notifications at the top of the page, and all the apps you use most – your favorites – directly underneath.
The new minimalist look is easy to read and includes that mobile experience you’ve been waiting for with accessibility features conveniently built in.
One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is the navigation. The keyword search feature is now the primary method of finding the app you need. Add it as a favorite front and center with just a click of the star icon within the app or the app card on the home page. Scroll up and down for a comprehensive view of all the apps or see an alphabetical list from the fly-out menu.
For the best overview of the new PiratePort, don’t forget to take the walk-through tour on your first log in to see what’s new.
As always, we appreciate your thoughts and ideas, so feel free to let us know how the new PiratePort works for you or future features we can implement.
